Ludo Game Rules
Players:
Ludo is usually played by 2 to 4 players.
Each player chooses a color (red, green, yellow, or blue) and gets 4 tokens of that color.
Objective:
Move all your 4 tokens from the starting area to the home area (center of the board) before the other players.
Starting the Game:
Players roll a single die to move tokens.
You must roll a 6 to bring a token from the starting area onto the board.
Movement:
Tokens move clockwise along the path according to the number rolled on the die.
Rolling a 6 gives you an extra turn.
Capturing Tokens:
If your token lands on a square occupied by an opponent’s token, the opponent’s token is sent back to their starting area.
You cannot capture your own tokens.
Safe Squares:
Certain marked squares are safe zones, where tokens cannot be captured.
Entering Home Column:
When a token completes a full round, it enters its home column (the path of its own color).
Tokens must move exactly the number needed to reach the center/home.
